a tribute to my late friend

*If one day you feel like crying... Call me. I don't promise that I will make you laugh, But I can cry with you. If one day you want to run away-- Don't be afraid to call me. I don't promise to ask you to stop... But I can run with you. If one day you don't want to listen to anyone... Call me. I promise to be there for you. And I promise to be very quiet. But if one day you call... And there is no answer... Come fast to see me. Perhaps I need you.

Einstein religious view

"I'm not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws."

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind"

faith

The university professor challenged his students with this question.

"Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes, He did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes sir", the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil".
The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with him self and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?"
The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is
what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."

The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to break white light into colors to study the various wavelengths of each color. You can not measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."

Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light." The professor sat down.

The young man's name:
Albert Einstein

love is blind

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him.

Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying..... "
Just take care of my eyes dear." I'll always love you forever..

once in a while..

Every once in a while, people step up. They rise above themselves. Sometimes they surprise you. And sometimes they fall short. Life is funny sometimes. It can push pretty hard. But if you look close enough, you find hope in the words of children, in the bars of a song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you're lucky, I mean if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

the story of two men

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation. And every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one-hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the outside world.
The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake, the man said. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Lovers walked arm in arm amid flowers of every color of the rainbow. Grand old trees graced the landscape, and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance. As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.
One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn't hear the band, he could see it in his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words. Unexpectedly, an alien thought entered his head:
Why should he have all the pleasure of seeing everything while I never get to see anything ? It didn't seem fair. As the thought fermented the man felt ashamed at first. But as the days passed and he missed seeing more sights, his envy eroded into resentment and soon turned him sour. He began to brood and he found himself unable to sleep. He should be by that window - that thought now controlled his life.
Late one night as he lay staring at the ceiling, the man by the window began to cough. He was choking on the fluid in his lungs. The other man watched in the dimly lit room as the struggling man by the window groped for the button to call for help. Listening from across the room he never moved, never pushed his own button which would have brought the nurse running. In less than five minutes the coughing and choking stopped, along with the sound of breathing.
Now there was only silence ----- deathly silence.
The following morning the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths. When she found the lifeless body of the man by the window, she was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take it away -- no works, no fuss. As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.
Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it all himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.
It faced a blank wall.

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you at all.

There was once a guy who was very much in love with a girl. He folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to her. Although at that time he was just a small fry in his company and his
future didn't seem too bright he was contented with what he had.. for he was in love.. and they were both happy together..

Until one day, this girl told him she was going to leave the country for Paris and try to live a new life there with no intention of returning back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for both of them because he was poor and he had no dreams. He couldn't believe what he just heard and couldn't help but cry. She was his dream, his love, his friend.. she was his everything..

Just when he thought he had it all he gets to experience the true side of the world.. with all it's misery in it..

But love is being able to accept the truth no matter how it hurts.. She broke his heart and yet he still loves her..

Days have passed, months have gone by and yet his feelings for her has always stayed the same..

He worked hard night and day to put his mind off the past..
He wanted to prove her wrong about the fact that he has no dreams.. he can be somebody someday..

Finally with all the hard work and help from his friends, he was able to build his own company..

One rainy day, while he was driving along the highway, he saw an old couple sharing an umbrella in the rain while heading to some destination. It didn't take him a while to recognise them for they seemed familiar to him.. they were his girl's parents..

He drove back to them.. slowly.. to show them how his life has changed. how successful he has become.. he's got his own car, house, company.. he's got it all..

But what he saw next confused him. The couple were heading to a cemmetery. Out of impulse he went out of the car and followed them.

She was there.. his heart pounded so fast for he couldn't believe what he was seeing.. He felt the warmth of his tears thrickling down his cheeks.. He was crying in the rain..

He saw his girl's photograph smiling sweetly at him.. from her tombstone.. next to the paper cranes he once gave her.

Her parents felt his presence and looked back at him. Out of confusion he asked them why.. and how did all this happend..

She did not leave for Paris for she was ill with cancer, it was her cliché. She believed that he will make it someday and she didn't want to be his obstacle. All she ever wanted was to be with him.. but she chose to leave him to spare him from her suffering and frustrations..

Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to,
doesn't mean they don't love you at all.

She wanted
her parents to put his paper
cranes beside her, because, if the day
comes when fate brings him near to her again... he will remember how much she loved him and how much he meant to her...

Once you have loved someone, you will always love her.. forever. For what's in your mind and heart will remain forever.

He cried in silence and whispered... "I thought I almost had it all.. now i know what was missing.. you.."

An Inspirational Thought The Wisdom of Einstein

Knowledge: The Search for the truth and Knowledge is one of the finest attributes of a man, though often it is most loudly voiced by those who strive for it the least.

Authority: To punish me for my contempt of authority, fate has made me an authority myself.

Truth: It is difficult to say what truth is, but sometimes it is easy to recognize a falsehood.

Cooperation: A hundred times a day I remind myself that my inner and outer lives are based on the labors of other people, living and dead and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving.

Wisdom: Wisdom is not a product of schooling, but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it.

Greatness: There is only one road to human greatness: through the school of hard knocks.

Happiness: A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future.

Fame: With fame I become more and more stupid, which of course is a very common phenomenon.

Life: Life is sacred, that is to say, it is the supreme value, to which all other values are subordinate.

Ageing: I have reached an age when, if someone tells me to wear socks, I don't have to.

Praise: The only way to escape the personal corruption of praise is to go on working.

Problems: Fear or stupidity has always been the basis of most human actions.

Relativity: An hour sitting with a pretty girl on a park bench passes like a minute, but a minute sitting on a hot stove seems like an hour.

Goals: One should not pursue goals that are easily achieved. One must develop an instinct for what one can barely achieve through one's greatest efforts.

Racism: The only remedies against race and prejudice are enlightenment and education. This is a slow and painstaking process.

Solitude: I lived in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity.

Value: Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.

Imagination: When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come close to the conclusion that the gift of imagination has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing absolute knowledge

Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday

Sometimes people come into your life & you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or help you figure out who you are & or who you want to become You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you lock eyes with them, you know at the very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
and sometime things will happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, & unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming these obstacles that you would have never realized your true potential, strength, will power, or heart
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by mean of good luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness & sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without this small test, whatever they may be, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe & comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.
The people that you meet who affect your life, and the success and downfalls you experience, help to create who you are and who you will become Even the bad experiences are learned from. In fact, they are the most poignant ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because in a way, they are teaching you to love & how to open your heart & eyes to things.
Make everyday count. Appreciate every moment & take from those moments everything you could possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before & actually listen... Let yourself fall in love again, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right too.
Tell yourself that you are a great individual & believe in yourself. For if you don't believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make your life anything you wish.....Create your own life & then go out & live it with absolutely NO REGRETS. Most importantly, if you love someone tell him or her, for you NEVER know what tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson in life each day you live.
Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday.... Was it worth it?

Charles Schultz

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Acheivements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier?

The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care.

Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your life. "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia." (Charles Schultz)

Why women cry watch her eyes

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said: "When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

i'm just a guy..

I'm a guy..... who can wrestle with you and let you win.... who i can talk to about anything... who laughs at your jokes.... who puts your cold hands in my warm hoodie pockets.... who lets you use my sweatshirt for a pillow.... who says i love you & means it.... who will kiss you in the rain, in the sunshine, and in the snow.... whos calls unexpectedly.... who will have many inside jokes with you and remember each one.... a guy who notices haircuts.... who realizes that you say things but dont always mean them.... who you can go swimming with on hot days.... who can tell you my problems and let you help.... who will listen to you talk... who will bring you seashells from the beach.... who will let you beat me up when you get angry.... who writes love letters to you, but doesnt send them.... who draws pictures and slips them gently into your locker slot.... who saves my genuine, big smiles for you.... with deeps eyes, that can see through faces into depths.... who wears baseball hats and lets your wear mine too. ... who gives you my t-shirt to change into and not expect to get it back.... who knows your favorite color, song, car, vegetable, perfume and the color of your toothbrush.... who will shake your dads hand and look your mom in the eye.... who will call you by your full name--first, middle and last.... who willl know when something is wrong when you're trying your best to put on an act... who will kiss you and tell you you're beautiful.... who will let you cry to me.... who will hold you & kiss your cheek.... who suprises you and compliments and plays with your hair.... who will brag about you to all of my friends...who will not tell his friends about intimate stuff we did... not afraid to give you a great big hug right infront of my mom... who smells like i just stepped out of the shower.... who will cut his hair when i know it looks bad... who wears cologne that you can subtly smell when you're leaning on my shoulder.... who will not try to meet up with other girls if i know you'll get jealous...who tells you that you have a nice laugh and a smile that lights up the room and simply be yours to hold.

Read this and let it really sink in...then choose how to start your day tomorrow...

Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a
good mood and always has something positive to say. When
someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, "If I
were any better, I would be twins!"

He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad
day, Michael was there telling the employee how to look on the
positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to
Michael and asked him, "I don't get it! You can't be a positive
person all of the time. How do you do it?"

Michael replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself,
'Mike, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a
good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.' I choose to
be in a good mood.

"Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim
or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it.

"Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to
accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of
life. I choose the positive side of life."

"Yeah, right, it isn't that easy," I protested.

"Yes, it is," Michael said. Life is all about choices. When you
cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose
how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect
your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. "The
bottom line is: It's your choice how you live life."

I reflected on what Michael said. Soon thereafter, I left the tower industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that Michael was involved in a
serious accident, falling some 60 feet from a communications
tower. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care,
Michael was released from the hospital with rods placed in his
back.

I saw Michael about six months after the accident. When I asked
him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins.
Wanna see my scars?"

I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone
through his mind as the accident took place. "The first thing that went through my mind was the well being of my soon-to-be-
born daughter," Michael replied. "Then, as I lay on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or I could choose to die. I chose to live."

"Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked.

Michael continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept
telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me
into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors
and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read 'He's a dead man.' I knew I needed to take action."

"What did you do?" I asked. "Well, there was a big burly nurse
shouting questions at me," said Michael. "She asked if I was
allergic to anything. 'Yes,' I replied. The doctors and nurses
stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep
breath and yelled, 'Gravity.' Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead'."

Michael lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude. I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully. Attitude, after all, is everything.

17. Watch for big problems. They disguise big oppurtunities.

for brave and courage..

Courage is about doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared before you do it.

It is your attitude at the beginning of a task that determines success or failure.

Don't wait until people are dead to give them flowers.

Don't let your pride or lack of courage stand in the way of saying you're sorry.

Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn't give you credit.

It doesn't take strength to hold a grudge; it takes strength to let go of one.

I would rather make my name than inherit it.

Measure your days by how the corners of your mouth turn.

The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.

I've been trying to find the word that says what I need to be in life.

"Brave' is the only word. It's the only thing that I ask myself to be.

English is fun!

------------ The English Language-----------------
There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither
apple or pine in pineapple. And while no one knows what is
in a hotdog, you can be pretty sure it isn't canine.

English muffins were not invented in England nor French
fries in France.

Sweetmeats are candies, while sweetbreads, which aren't
sweet, are meat.

We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes,
we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are
square, and guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write, but fingers don't fing,
grocers don't groce, and hammers don't ham?

If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of
booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, two meese?
Is cheese the plural of choose? One mouse, 2 mice. One louse,
2 lice. One house, 2 hice?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?

If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian
eat?

Why do people recite at a play, and play at a recital?
Ship by truck or car and send cargo by ship? Have noses
that run and feet that smell? Park on driveways and drive
on parkways?

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a
wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

How can the weather be hot as heck one day and cold as
heck another? When a house burns up, it burns down. You fill
in a form by filling it out and an alarm clock goes off by
going on. You get in and out of a car, yet you get on and
off a bus. When the stars are out, they are visible, but when
the lights are out, they are invisible.

And why, when I wind up my watch, I start it, but when I
wind up this essay, I end it?

English is a silly language ... it doesn't know if it is
coming or going!!!

don't quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

what love does mean?

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all even when his hands got arthritis, too. That's Love. Rebecca - age 8

When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 4

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." Karl - age 5

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French Fries without making them give you any of theirs." Chrissy - age 6

"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." Terri - age 4

"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK." Danny - age 7

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss" Emily - age 8

"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen." Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate." Nikka - age 6

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it
everyday." Noelle - age 7

"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." Tommy - age 6

"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore." Cindy - age 8

"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night." Clare - age 6

"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken." Elaine-age 5

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford." Chris - age 7

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." Mary Ann - age 4

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old
clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." Lauren - age 4

"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you" Karen - age 7

"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross." Mark - age 6

"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget," Jessica - age 8

And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about contest he was asked to judge. The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. (Now this will melt your heart.) The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When
his Mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

this is story of a best friend

10th grade

As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

11th grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep. She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Senior year
The day before prom she walked to my locker. My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step. I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she isn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Graduation Day
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

A Few Years Later
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.

Funeral
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read: I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me! `I wish I did too...` I thought to my self, and I cried.

how to become genius

Scientists theorize that human beings are not using their full brain potential. But how can one go about increasing their brain function to achieve, say, genius status? If you would like to learn more about how to become a genius, start by checking out this helpful how to guide.

Renowned psychologist Dr. Alfred Barrios once said, "Most people have the mistaken idea that geniuses are born, not made." But as science and technology advance, more evidence arises suggesting that it is possible for people to increase their brain activity so that they are smarter. They may even be able to achieve genius-level status.

Keep your mind young by learning new things. Don't let your brain grow rusty from not using it - your mind is like a muscle that needs exercise in order to stay healthy. There are many formal and informal courses, mind games, and activities that can help. Some of them are on this page. To start you off take a look at how to stay mentally sharp.

Albert Einstein is generally considered to have been a great genius. And yet he spent much of his working life in a menial clerical job working on his theories and papers on his own time, until he finally got some recognition and succeeded. Albert Einstein believed that “There’s a Genius in all of us”. So, take some inspiration from the great Albert Einstein himself!

Everyone knows that you cannot have a great mind if you have no body to put it in. Remember that you can help yourself have a better chance at a brilliant mind if you keep your body healthy and well. Some other Mahalo pages that could help you are how to eat healthy foods, how to read food labels, how to make healthy ingredient substitutions, how to get into shape, how to exercise at your desk, how to stick to an exercise program, how to start an exercise routine and how to measure body fat.

Step 1: Think Like a Genius

In order to become a genius, you've got to start thinking like a genius. You are probably rolling your eyes and thinking, "If I already thought like a genius, I wouldn't need this how to!" But by thinking like a genius you must convince yourself that you already are a genius.
Behave like a genius
Talk like a genius
Carry and present yourself like a genius

Step 2. Use Your Time Wisely

Geniuses know how to maximize their time for optimum learning and experience. They do not waste time on activities that do not heighten their experience or provide an opportunity to learn something. Geniuses spend very little time on things like:
Watching television
Playing video games
Surfing the Internet
The above activities actually put your brain on sleep mode, so instead you will want to find activities that stimulate the mind and promote creativity, like:
Reading
Writing
Researching
You should also consider taking on a job in an environment you enjoy, and that also enables you to continue learning along the way. A genius's mind is always open to more knowledge. Find ways to incorporate learning into your everyday activities.

Step 3: Feed Your Mind

Just as geniuses know how to use their time wisely, they also know what to feed their body to promote healthy brain activity. Take some time to reflect on your current diet.
Are you dependent on a stimulant, like caffeine?
Do you weigh yourself down with too much starch?
Is every bite coated in sugar?
Are carbohydrates fogging your brain?
Once you've assessed your diet, look for ways to improve it. Maybe you enjoy a cup of coffee now and then, and that's fine, but if it's become an addiction your mind will be drawn away from its natural functions to service that addiction. The same thing goes for any type of addiction, whether it be nicotine or a more serious drug. You want your mind to be functioning at full capacity at all times.
Eating brain food is another way to increase your mental activity.
Proteins kick start memory and neurotransmitters
Brains need essential fatty acids because they are mostly made of fat
Foods that are close to their original, natural state are best, like foods that are:
Unprocessed Organic

The page below is a great introduction to how to be a genius by training your mind to work more efficiently. A linear tangible goal - the basics. This video opens up the meaning of genius to a wider focus. You can be a genius at leadership - in inspiring others, in tackling larger projects, in overcoming your own personal shortcomings and showing others how to do the same etc. So think about it, once your brain is improved and sharper - what will you choose to do with it? Here is some inspiration for the next level. And only you can know what you want to achieve and how far you can learn and grow and what new goals you can reach as a person and community member in this civilization. Good luck!

last night on earth

I text a postcard sent to you
Did it go through?
Sending all my love to you
You are the moonlight of my life every night
Giving all my love to you
My beating heart belongs to you
I walked for miles til I found you
I'm here to honor you
If I lose everything in the fire
I'm sending all my love to you

With every breath that I'm worth here on Earth
I'm sending all my love to you
So if you dare to second guess you can rest assured
That all my love's all for you

My beating heart belongs to you
I walked for miles til I found you
I'm here to honor you
If I lose everything in the fire
I'm sending all my love to you

My beating heart belongs to you
I walked for miles til I found you
I'm here to honor you
If I lose everything in the fire
Did I ever make it through?

human will only change if they are on the brink of disaster..

today i'd watched the day that earth stood still..there so much we can learn from this film...but the most important message is..as Klaatu said,"Human will only change if they are on the brink of disaster.."...this disaster is actually originates from the human themselves..nobody can deny that..look at what we are facing now..global warming, melting of iceberg, toxic gaseous, long drought, war beyond poverty and the list goes on....

We never learn from our mistakes,as we can see,for example Copenhagen Conference Of Climate Change 2009,most of the leader of developed country such as United States,China,Britain,Germany,Canada and others signed the mou with nothing such a good intentions..the arm race still rocking in their mind..

So what would happen to the human races...in a period of decade, century onwards? Are we destroying our world with any good reason?? What will happen to the next generations then?? Are they still can see the rainforest?? We should this simple question by deep in our minds...

As i said just now..human will change when everything is on the critical point..aren't they?? Perhaps yes, perhaps not..but all of this things can be measured by us...let's us finished of what we started..stop blaming to others although we didn't consume to the global warming..let's us start now..we must change our way of thinking..think green..for a better future..because it's never too late change..

P/S:WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD FOR A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN..SO LET'S FINISHED OF WHAT WE STARTED.

this is story of a boy met a girl (not a love story)

...one day,a boy met a girl..he looking at the girl..staring on her..he felt unusual...,"This girl must be someone,I'd met her before..",he said...and by that time he'd an intention to know her...frankly...

By following weeks he tried to text that girl...he really wanna her so much..he don't know why..maybe it's one instincts...actually,the girl's face looks like the another girl..(the girl that he likes and loved so much before but after knowing that girl can never accept her,he's trying to forget her..by time)

In the past there's so many things happened to this boy...he's just a silly boy who don't know much about being in love with someone..he's feelings terrific(I don't know this can be the right word to describe his feeling but I think it's ok..hehe)towards the girl...he never meant to be so but he's trying to be the best..to be a good boy..to impress others..to become top of his achievement and others..he'd tried to change..to be a better person..to be matured..to be tough in such things as feelings..

Ok,back to the story...after a moment..he had a chance to approached that girl and to know her..he's happy I think..they often had a time to study together at their college..always spent a good time together..they happy..people around them also happy..they are blessed..it's such a great joy..they like to each other..the boy always make the girl laughs.Everything they do,they happy...they get to know each other intimately..those things like sharing stories, sharing memories, even sometimes sharing their favorite stuffs..

After a few months later..this boy started to think about a serious relationship...then he asked the girl..but the girl said she's not ready for any serious relationship...the boy try to convince her in everything he do..to gain a trustfulness...then things went so well..the girl finally accept the boy as her boyfriend...

The boy loved her so much..although she's the second girl that he loved by the time he tried to give the best as he had..for him..loving someone is some kind of a very great things...he will love someone that love him and can accept him for every course...

~rasya~

The boy always expressed love words and being romantic to this girl..but the girl sometimes didn't..she said that she feels ashamed because this her first love and she's some kind of naives...the boy didn't mind..all the things he knew is just loving..no matter where they have to be,when they have to be...as long as he knew that that girl can love him, that's enough...he thanks to God..

They'd had through a hard time at their college..but one day.......the girl told a bad news to him..she's going to leave the college...at first, the boy felt very mad to her but he realized that she's also will going to leave him someday...but of course, sometimes he felt like he want to cry ....sometimes he want to laugh loudly..haha..he's insane I think..

Before the girl take a leave she girl asked the boy whether he want to continue this relationship or not...and the boy said,"Oh darling, should I compare thee to other flowers here? Thou art more lovely and more temperate...if people said that love is drug and you are my personal brand of heroin...I shall never leave you my love...".

Being in such a distance relationship is very tough for him..every single time he missed the girl very much...he don't know what to do else..but thanks to his friends at the college that always listen to him, always support him and always lend a shoulder to cry on.....

Things happened as usual..for every seconds, every minutes, every hour, every single day, every single week..nothing special happened...the boy thought life is like that...everything will go on their own course...they function well...nothing miracle would happened..everything as well as it is...life is colorful...

During his summer break..things went bad for them..the boy felt that the girl doesn't love him anymore..but the girl deny that..she said that she still love him but the boy knew she doesn't meant it...he can feel that the girl has like somebody else..maybe it's the boy from her new college..knowing that she had a better happy life there..better than before as he thought..the boy still confused of what should he do an what shouldn't...he doesn't want to break of promise to this girl and to himself...but what options does he have..he's just a silly boy..too naive...

He had to make a choice..the girl urged him to do so...she asked to let her go..she want to be free so that she can enjoy a brand happy life at her new college...the boy just don't have any reason to hold her anymore..he had to let her go..it's pathetic..sigh~

sometimes...love can be wonderful for people who live for it...

sometimes...love could be tragic..for people who never meant for it..

so,to begin i would like to write about a story that i'd watched this week,,,,

500 Days Of Summer

this story is about a boy met a girl..but it's not a love story...sigh.

The film is presented in a nonlinear narrative, as it jumps from various days within the 500-day span of Tom and Summer's relationship; this summary is a linear version of the events of the film.

On January 8, Tom Hansen meets Summer Finn, the new assistant to his boss. Tom trained as an architect but works as a writer at a greeting card company, living in Los Angeles. Following a karaoke night, Tom's co-worker, McKenzie, lets slip that Tom is attracted to Summer. Over the next few months Summer and Tom grow closer, despite Summer making it clear to Tom that she does not believe in true love, and does not want a boyfriend.

Tom shows Summer his favorite spot in the city, which looks out over a number of buildings he likes, although the view is spoiled by parking lots. After a few weeks dating, Tom gets into a fight with a guy chatting up Summer, and they have their first argument. On day 290, Summer and Tom split up after they see The Graduate, a film which Tom thinks shows true love. Tom does not take the break up well and Tom's friends call his younger sister, Rachel, to calm him down.

Summer quits the greeting card company and Tom's boss moves him to consolations, as his depression is not suitable for happier events. Months later Summer and Tom attend the wedding of a co-worker, they dance at the wedding and Summer catches the bouquet. They sit next to each other on the journey home and Summer invites Tom to a party at her apartment. Tom attends the party and sees that Summer is wearing an engagement ring. Realizing what is being celebrated, he leaves the party. Tom enters a deep depression, only leaving his apartment for alcohol and junk food. After a few days, he returns to work drunk and quits his job. He sets about re-applying himself to architecture, makes a list of firms, and begins to attend interviews.

On day 488, Summer sees Tom at his favorite spot in the city and they talk. Tom states his lack of understanding towards her actions but ultimately, wishes Summer well. Twelve days later, on Wednesday, May 23, he attends a job interview and meets a girl, who is also applying for the same job. Before entering the interview, he makes a date to have coffee with her afterward. He introduces himself, and she replies, "Hi...I'm Autumn."
